Meet Dwain Barker | Founder & Technical Director
"I know what it feels like to be told you're not good enough."
I spent my entire high school career as a goalkeeper because I was told I wasn't good enough to play on the field. After graduation, a coach saw something different in me and worked with me for three years as a forward.
That opportunity changed everything.
I went on to become a successful collegiate player at Illinois Central College, where I recorded 52 goals and 25 assists in two seasons, earned NJCAA All-American honors, competed at the NCAA Division I level at Western Illinois University, and represented the Barbados U-23 Men's National Team.
Today, I use those experiences to help players develop the skills and confidence they need to reach their potential.
I founded Next O Soccer around a simple belief:
